how it works
The link is the shelf.
Send it in a chat, drop it in a bio, paste it in a message. Whoever opens it sees the same songs, in the same order, with nothing to sign up for.
What the link carries.
- Nothing to sign up for. Whoever opens the link sees the same songs, in the same order, with no account wall on the other side.
- Two shapes. A short link from our backend when it is reachable, and a long self-contained link that always works — even offline.
- Artwork and previews. Rows resolve real covers and 30-second previews in the listener's browser.
- Optional cloud. Sign in with Google and your shelf follows you between devices; keep it private or list it in Discover.
three moves
Three moves.
Save, order, share. Nothing else is asked of you, and any of it can be undone.
Keep your favourites
Add a title and artist, or paste a track link and let the details fill themselves in.
Make it read like a mood
Your shelf keeps its order. The first song becomes the pinned favourite on the shared view.
Send one link
Copy the link and hand it over. They can listen, open each song, or save the whole shelf to their own.
two shapes
A short address, or one that carries itself.
Every share hands you the first one when our backend answers, and the second when it does not. Both open the same shelf.
favsongs.pages.dev/4f9c2a
Points at a row in our backend, which is what lets the same address be updated when your shelf changes instead of being replaced. Fits a bio.
favsongs.pages.dev/#p=eyJ0IjoiRHJlYW1zIiwiYSI6IkZsZWV0d29vZCB…
The whole shelf inside the address itself. It works with the backend down, works from a saved file, and needs nothing but the songs to open.
the fine print
What it never does.
- No trackers, no advertising, no analytics. Nothing on this site counts you, follows you, or sells you anything.
- Nothing is uploaded until you press Share. Until then your shelf is a few kilobytes in your own browser, and the only copy is yours.
- No account wall on the other side. A link you send opens for whoever has it, signed in or not, on whatever device they are holding.
- No email in our tables. Signing in with Google keeps your display name, your picture and your shelf; the address itself stays in the authentication record. The privacy policy says the same thing in the same words.
